Blue Lagoon Menu

All food is prepared on site from fresh ingredients. Generous quantities are provided so seconds are always available.


Breakfast

  • Fruit Juice chilled

  • Cereals: Cornflakes, Rice Bubbles, Weetbix, Oat Flakes

  • Fresh fruit: rock melon, paw paw, banana, watermelon (at least 2 of seasonally)

  • Yoghurt: 3 types of fruit yoghurt and a natural yogurt.

  • Toast with real butter; Vegemite, strawberry jam, marmalade and honey

  • Toast with hot food: first breakfast - sausages; second breakfast - mince; third breakfast - stew


Lunch

Salads are prepared from fresh ingredients, except for the tinned beetroot.

  • bread multi grain

  • cold meat

  • sliced matured cheddar cheese

  • tomato

  • lettuce with and without Praise dressings

  • carrot grated

  • pineapple

  • coleslaw (cabbage, carrot and praise mayonaise)

  • beetroot

  • 1 or 2 seasonal fruits , eg. watermelon, bananas, grapes

  • chilled 90% fruit juice cordial


Dinners

1st Dinner

Main Course BBQ, bread roll, rib fillet steak, sausages (pork and beef combined), tomato, lettuce, grated carrot, beetroot and pineapple

or

Main course Stir fry beef and vegetables (vegetarians can have without beef on request)

Desert Sarah Lee chocolate cake, with port and cream and strawberries in season


2nd Dinner

Main course Spaghetti bolognaise (note meat sauce severed separately to spaghetti) (vegetarian option on request)

Desert Boiled fruit cake served with hot custard prepared on site. (Gluten free custard powder is stocked)


Special dietary requirements.

Every effort is made to accommodate those with special diets due to medical conditions or religious requirements. If the standard menu is unacceptable then patrons are asked to being their own ingredients required to adapt the standard meal for their special dietary requirements.


Vegetarians will find most meals wholesome and enjoyable without the meat portions. A vegetarian sauce can be prepared from ingredients at camp for dinners if requested before the camp.
