Meet Alan on the footpath at the back of the Caltex truck stop – (opposite Owens Transport located at 4 Howard Smith Drive). When entering Howard Smith Drive from Osprey St turn right. Please arrive by 7.30 for a stress free loading of your luggage. Look for a white Defender with white covered trailer.

The Defender will leave at 7.50 am to load on the MICat. (If late your luggage will have to be carried onto the MICat.) MICat departs 8.30am.

Ferry Details

The MICat will not wait for late passengers but sometimes departure is delayed by a few minutes. If you are late or have missed the MICat text Alan to see what your options are. If vehicle is available it may be possible to collect you from a latter ferry but this will incur extra costs.

The MICat lands at The Wrecks and from there it takes up to an hour to travel to Moreton Experience’s Blue Lagoon camp.

Return leaves Moreton 3.30 pm Sunday arriving at the Port at 5pm.

Work space

A 1.8 meter table is provided for each artist in a large white marquee with night lighting.

There are no shops on the Ocean beach where we are based. So remember,

The fresh water Blue Lagoon is an easy 10 minute walk from camp and is excellent for swimming. Swimming from the Ocean beach is not safe as there are no life savers, no shark nets offshore and the beach is notorious for rips.
